Technical Sales Manager

About the Company: RMS Recruitment is excited to announce an excellent opportunity for a Technical Sales Manager on behalf of a leading manufacturer specialising in offline oil purification systems.
About the Role: As a Technical Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing growth within product sales and service in the general industry sector, developing long-term relationships with clients through managing and interpreting their requirements.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
* Increase company turnover and maintain agreed profit margins through sales to existing customers
* Conduct market analyses and develop new business opportunities
* Negotiate tender and contract terms and conditions to meet both client and company needs
* Analyse costs and sales
* Meet regular sales targets and coordinate sales projects
* Support marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events
* Conduct technical presentations and demonstrate how a product meets client's needs
About You: The successful candidate will hold a Mechanical Engineering qualification to HNC/Degree level, or time served apprenticeship.
Requirements:
* At least 5 years experience selling into a manufacturing environment, including cement, quarry, heat treatment and injection moulding
* Experience with all aspects of Microsoft 365
* Understanding of fluid dynamics and how filtration technology can be applied in industrial applications
* Experience in oil analysis and machine condition analysis
* Strong communication skills at all levels, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues in the UK and internationally
* Structured, analytical, and strong problem-solving abilities
