Job Overview:

As an Apprentice Cabinetmaker, you will work with a team of experienced professionals to learn the craft of designing, building, and installing custom cabinetry and furniture.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Construct and install custom cabinets and joinery through various factory-based and on-site projects
  • Operate saws, chisels, and power tools to mark, cut, and shape wood
  • Trim and glue joints for high-quality finishes
  • Analyze designs, drawings, and parts to determine specifications
  • Cut and shape wood pieces according to requirements
  • Fitting hinges, drawers, and shelves for seamless integration
  • Deliver and install completed products to site
  • Perform other tasks as requested by the host employer


Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should have:



  • A genuine interest in woodworking and cabinet making
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Physical fitness to perform manual labor
  • The ability to effectively carry out instructions
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation (advantageous)

Estimated Salary:

$50,000 - $60,000 per annum, based on industry standards and location.
