Independent Trainee Role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in providing anaesthetic services in the Interventional Suite, Labour ward, and Radiology Department.
  • Participate in Preadmission Clinics, the Acute Pain Service, and the Clinical Emergency Response Service (CERs).

Requirements:

  • Hold a medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) and be registrable with the relevant authority.
  • Demonstrated clinical practice as a registered medical practitioner for at least two years, with progress towards career goals in Anaesthetics or Critical Care.
  • Minimum of one year experience in Anaesthetics.
  • Clinical competency and ability to work independently within a supervised complex clinical environment.
  • Commitment to quality improvement, patient safety, risk management, and sound understanding of legal and ethical obligations in medical practice.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, time management, and problem-solving skills in a multidisciplinary clinical setting.
