About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Manager to join our team at a pioneering facility in the Australian and Asia-Pacific Cell & Gene Therapy landscape. As a key member of the organization, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing a comprehensive supply chain strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a strategic supply chain plan to meet business needs.
  • Manage procurement, warehousing, and distribution functions to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with internal stakeholders to define resource demand, budgets, and supplier validation.
  • Plan, manage, and coordinate activities related to sourcing and procurement of necessary materials and supplies.
  • Leverage established networks and partnerships to bring efficiency and financial benefits.
  • Engage with 3PL providers to ensure cGMP-compliant warehousing and transportation of raw materials and finished goods.
  • Play a leading role in the selection and implementation of an ERP system, along with relevant policies, procedures, and training.
  • Optimize supply chain performance through continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards in all supply chain processes.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through timely deliveries and quality outcomes.
  • Monitor supplier costs and opportunities for competitive cost savings.
  • Prepare and present reports on supply chain performance to the leadership team.

Requirements

  • Hold a relevant degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in a Supply Chain & Logistics role within a cGMP environment is essential.
  • Extensive experience in a similar role, with confidence and ability to establish the Supply Chain function for a new business.
  • Strong leadership and communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Problem-solving and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Adaptability in a rapidly evolving environment.
  • Full working rights in Australia.
