Employment Opportunities Specialist

A key role in supporting individuals with disabilities to secure employment is available. As an Employment Opportunities Specialist, you will play a vital part in helping job seekers become work-ready and connect them with suitable job openings.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of our dedicated team, who share a common goal of enabling better lives for everyone we serve. With numerous sites nationally, you will be based at our Miller location.

About You

We are seeking someone who excels in a productive environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service. You will enjoy working collaboratively with stakeholders to maximize job opportunities for all and take pride in helping colleagues achieve outstanding results.

Suitable Backgrounds

Candidates with backgrounds in customer-facing roles such as retail, call centers, hospitality, consulting, business development, and administration are well-suited for this position. Your ability to help people and meet business objectives will make you a great fit for this role.

Your Responsibilities

  • Source job openings for job seekers
  • Help job seekers identify their skills and secure employment
  • Deliver ongoing outstanding customer service
  • Increase job seekers' capacity for employment through training and support services
  • Create and implement joint job plans to support a clear pathway to employment
  • Build relationships with local employers and community organizations

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Eligibility to work in Australia
  • A current driver's license and comprehensively insured vehicle
  • The willingness to complete a Criminal History Check
  • The ability to pass a Working with Children Check
  • A full-time commitment from Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm
