Employment Specialist

We are seeking passionate and motivated individuals to support participants in gaining meaningful employment.


About the Role
  • Deliver services using the Individual Placement & Support (IPS) Model, a globally recognized approach to employment for people with mental illness.
  • Support participants through every step of their journey: vocational profiling, job search, resume and interview preparation, placement, post-placement support and ongoing support.
  • Strive to exceed individual and team performance targets, delivering sustainable employment outcomes.
  • Build strong partnerships with local employers to create inclusive job opportunities.
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare providers, ensuring wrap-around supports for participants' wellbeing.
  • Monitor outcomes, keep accurate records, and contribute to continuous improvement in service delivery.

What You Will Need
  • A relevant Certificate III or higher qualification (Employment Services, Community Services, Mental Health, or related field).
  • Experience in employment services, mental health support, or disability services.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust with participants and employers.
  • A current driver's licence and your own vehicle.
  • The ability to obtain all required clearances (NDIS, Working with Children, Police Check).
