Senior Land Advisor

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Land Advisor to fill a key role within our organization.

The Opportunity
  • Deliver expert land and tenure advice to support business operations.
  • Manage and maintain the Land & Tenement database and systems to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and statutory obligations.
  • Ensure timely payment of rent, rates, and other Departmental fees.
  • Prepare and lodge statutory forms and reports for submission to government agencies in a prompt and accurate manner.
  • Manage ad-hoc tenement compliance matters effectively.
  • Represent the organization in wardens court proceedings and negotiate access agreements as required.
  • Provide strategic guidance on land and tenement risks through effective stakeholder engagement.
Key Requirements
  • Tertiary level qualification in Geosciences, Law, Planning, Environment Commerce or an equivalent field.
  • Demonstrated experience in land management, legal support, or a related field within the mining, resources, or infrastructure sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian mining legislation, regulations, legal compliance requirements, and risk management principles.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing priorities to align with organizational objectives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with various stakeholders.
