Our company is seeking a highly skilled Senior Environmental Specialist to lead our contaminated land management efforts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • We require the successful candidate to develop and implement effective site assessment strategies, including preliminary and detailed contaminated land assessments and preparation of site management plans.
  • The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, overseeing investigations, including soil, vapour, surface water, groundwater assessments and drilling programs, ensuring high-quality results are delivered on time.
  • A key aspect of this role is developing tailored fee proposals for clients, which requires excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Another critical responsibility is initiating, planning, leading and executing contaminated land and groundwater projects from start to finish, working closely with cross-functional teams.
Requirements:
  • Candidates must hold tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science/Engineering, Hydrogeology or Geology and possess at least 5 years experience in contaminated land projects, preferably with hydrogeology experience.
  • A valid/current driver's licence and ability to travel to sites for field work is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant environmental regulations, such as the National Environment Protection Measure (NEPM), is mandatory.
