Child Family Support Specialist

We are seeking a professional to provide wellbeing services for children and families.
- The role involves screening, assessment, and intervention in response to family violence and child vulnerability concerns.
- Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams is essential to achieve integrated risk assessment and planning.
This position requires strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
Main Responsibilities- To support individuals and families through advice on risk assessment and engagement.
- To conduct assessments and identify risks and needs of clients.
- To participate in case conferences and meetings to resolve stakeholder issues.
- To provide an initial response to complex situations.
- To refer clients to other specialists when necessary.
- Bachelor of Social Work or equivalent qualification.
- Working towards or meeting new mandatory minimum qualification policy requirement via available employment pathways.
- Current Working with Children Check and National Criminal History Check prior to commencement.
