Rural Child Protection Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Rural Child Protection Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for responding to and managing urgent child protection matters in rural areas.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Receiving and assessing new reports of alleged abuse and neglect of children and young people;
- Conducting investigations and developing plans to ensure the safety and wellbeing of children and young people;
- Working closely with other agencies and services to coordinate and lead planning, review, and management of casework;
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Strong risk assessment and analysis skills, with the ability to gather information from various sources and technologies;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, families, and communities;
- A strong understanding of child protection principles and practices, with the ability to apply evidence-based frameworks to investigate issues;
