The Role

As a Product Transition Manager, you will lead and manage the transition of products and services into service within Defence. This involves working closely with industry partners, acquisition, and sustainment organisations to successfully integrate products and services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage transition plans, including schedule identification and coordination across all applicable areas of the ADO providing sustainment services
  • Interface with project and branch functional areas to achieve transition
  • Lead a small team by setting priorities and guidance to deliver against deadlines

Requirements

  • Understand and implement relevant policies, procedures, and processes defined by CASG and the wider ADO to support transition
  • Accountable for timely achievement of transition activities to enable speed to capability
  • Communicate and manage risks and issues related to achieving transition

CASG Air Defence Systems (ADS) Branch will deliver four projects as part of the IAMD program:

  • AIR6500 PH1 (Joint Air Battle Management System)
  • AIR6502 PH1 (Medium Range Ground-Based Air Defence)
  • AIR6503 PH1 (Advanced and Very High Speed Missile Defence)
  • AIR7004 PH1 (Theatre Air Control System)
