Job Overview:

The Air Defence Systems Branch Advisor role involves working in high tempo environments, applying strategic thinking and influencing decision-making in capability acquisition and sustainment across the Defence organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing an understanding of regulations, licenses, and standards of practice
  • Engaging with stakeholders and assuring business process monitoring for adherence to CASG/Defence policy frameworks
  • Performing complex governance, project or program work within an integrated workforce
  • Having a well-developed understanding of and compliance with relevant legislative frameworks, government decision-making, and Defence's mission and policy requirements

About Our Work:

Air Defence Systems Branch is delivering projects as part of Defence's Integrated Air and Missile Defence (IAMD) capability programme.

Two key projects this role will support are AIR6500 PHASE 1 Joint Air Battle Management System (JABMS) and AIR6502 PHASE 1 Medium Range Ground Based Air Defence (MGRBAD).

This opportunity allows you to consolidate and transform the ADF's individual air defence capabilities into a persistent, layered, scalable, integrated, and allied-interoperable air and missile defence architecture over the next two decades and beyond.
