Project Acquisition Specialist

The Surveillance and Response Systems Program Office is seeking a highly effective Project Officer with experience in supporting complex Defence Acquisition projects. As an emerging leader, you will demonstrate strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the delivery of capability acquisitions, project management, stakeholder management, and risk assessment.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, documentation, and schedules.
  • Collaborate with multi-discipline teams for effective coordination and planning.
  • Undertake significant stakeholder management, interfacing with external projects and organisations.

About Our Program:

The Surveillance and Response Systems Program Office is responsible for acquiring and supporting common Aeronautical Life Support Equipment used by the Royal Australian Air Force, Navy, and Army. We work collaboratively with stakeholders and industry partners to ensure necessary acquisition, sustainment, and regulatory requirements are fulfilled.
