About the Role
The School of Nursing, Midwifery and Social Sciences at CQUniversity is responsible for delivering immersive learning experiences for students.
As a Simulation and Training Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in shaping student learning and proficiency by coordinating and organising simulation activities.
You will provide exceptional support and guidance to students while managing simulation setups, overseeing logistical operations, and adhering to industry standards and safety guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and organise simulation activities to deliver exceptional student learning experiences.
- Manage simulation setups, oversee logistical operations, and adhere to industry standards and safety guidelines.
- Provide expert technical and administrative support to faculties and divisions across various specialties.
Requirements
- Degree completion in a health discipline or certificate level with extensive experience.
- Strong communication skills for effective liaison with students and clients in planning technical simulation activities.
- Able to work independently, prioritise tasks, and complete work autonomously.
- Experience or ability to quickly learn preparation of simulated solutions and operation of clinical equipment, following relevant standards and legislation.
