Transportation Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Manager to oversee our freight, warehouse workers, and linehaul operations. As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for managing dispatching, routing, and tracking of freight activities, ensuring all vehicles entering and departing the depot comply with standards and legal requirements.

The role involves supervising frontline linehaul operations, ensuring all freight is sorted and distributed to customers within designated timeslots. You will also manage vehicle loading and unloading in accordance with company policies and safety procedures, as well as monitor and manage speed compliance of all Linehaul drivers.

  • Manage inbound/outbound vehicles to adhere to scheduled loading and departure timeframes.
  • Proactively manage company vehicles and forklifts to achieve efficient use of warehouse capabilities.

  • Oversee transportation operations to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.
  • Manage logistics processes to minimize costs and maximize efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on transportation activities.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve transportation services.
