Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement transport strategies that optimize resource allocation and minimize costs
  • Lead a high-performing transport team, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency
  • Implement and monitor transport systems to ensure safety and regulatory compliance
  • Identify opportunities to enhance transport efficiency and reduce costs through process improvements and technology adoption

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in logistics management, with a focus on transport planning and optimization
  • Proven track record of leading high-performing teams in complex, fast-paced environments
  • Advanced knowledge of vehicle types, capacity, specifications, load configuration, and load restraint
  • Excellent stakeholder management, influencing, and communication skills
  • Familiarity with SAP, Weighbridge, and Waste Edge systems is an asset
