Lismore City Council is seeking a skilled Bridge Carpenter to join our Roads Construction team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and maintaining bridges and other civil structures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out carpentry trade activities, including bridge maintenance and repairs.
- Display excellent communication skills and work collaboratively with the team.
- Identify and report safety and environmental hazards, and take corrective action as needed.
- Work outside normal working hours and attend callouts as required.
Requirements:
- Hold a trade qualification in Bridge and Wharf Carpenter, Civil Engineering Construction Carpenter, or equivalent.
- Driving Licence Class LR (Light Rigid) is desirable.
- Be accepting of new ideas and embrace change.
- Be outcome-focused and have personal integrity.
