Lismore, Australia Australian Rail Track Corporation Full time
About ARTC

We are one of Australia's largest rail network owners, dedicated to keeping the country's transport infrastructure on track.

Our role in the nation's transport supply chain is vital, as we manage the movement of over 430 freight and passenger trains across five states, 8,500km of track, 39 worksites, and the lands of more than 50 First Nations. Rail is a safer and more environmentally friendly choice, and we're committed to expanding and modernising our rail network to ensure its efficiency and sustainability.

Our Operations Team

The Operations team works with a diverse customer base to support several nationally significant supply chains. With management responsibility spanning across five states, our 8,500km rail network is used to transport bulk products, passenger, and general freight, including steel and a vast array of consumer items for both import and export markets.

The teams work within complex and challenging environments, including some of the busiest rail corridors in Australia, to deliver safe, efficient, and sustainable service delivery outcomes for customers, stakeholders, and the community.

About the Role

Rail Infrastructure Maintenance Specialists carry out the physical work of maintaining ARTC's rail track, including preventative and reactive maintenance activities, as well as undertaking minor construction for planned capital upgrades. This involves general labouring, track maintenance duties, safety protection work, visual inspections of ARTC's rail track, operating heavy machinery, welding, and other maintenance tasks while meeting ARTC standards.

This role requires strong communication skills, computer proficiency, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

What We Offer
  • A competitive salary of $80,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience
  • Flexible working options, including remote work arrangements
  • Resources to support your health and wellbeing and development
  • Novated leasing options, as well as discounts and support programs
  • A 24/7 Employee Assistance Program for all employees and their direct family members
