Bridge Carpenter

We are seeking a skilled Bridge Carpenter to join our Roads Construction team at Lismore City Council. The successful candidate will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and maintaining bridges and other general civil structures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out all carpentry trade activities, including the maintenance of bridges and structures.
• Display excellent communication skills and work effectively in a team environment.
• Identify and report safety and environmental hazards in the workplace.
• Work outside normal working hours and attend callouts as required.

Requirements:

• Hold one of the following trades - Bridge and Wharf Carpenter; Civil Engineering Construction Carpenter; or equivalent.
• Driving Licence Class LR (Light Rigid) (Desirable).
• Be accepting of new ideas and embrace change.
• Be outcome focused.
• Have personal integrity and take responsibility.
