Occupational Health and Injury Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Health and Injury Specialist to lead our injury and case management programs.

This is a full-time, permanent opportunity with a purpose-driven organisation committed to providing safe and supportive environments for our people.

  1. Key Responsibilities:
    • Manage workers compensation claims and maintain accurate records
    • Coordinate medical assessments and return-to-work programs
    • Provide expert advice on injury management and compliance
    • Identify risks and escalate issues to ensure early intervention and safe recovery
    • Generate reports and recommend improvements based on data trends

About You and Your Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Allied Health or a relevant field
  • Rehabilitation and Return to Work Coordinator certification
  • At least 5 years of experience in claims or injury management
  • Strong knowledge of workers compensation legislation (QLD & VIC)
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • A commitment to safety, compliance, and continuous improvement
