Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist Opportunity

The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated and skilled professional with a strong background in psychology or rehabilitation counselling.


This role offers the opportunity to work as an Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist, supporting individuals with injuries or health conditions to achieve return to health and return to work outcomes.


Key Responsibilities

The successful applicant will be responsible for:

  • Providing occupational rehabilitation services to clients with a range of physical and psychological conditions;
  • Developing and implementing injury prevention and workplace education programs;
  • Working collaboratively with injured workers, employers, medical and allied health professionals;
  • Conducting Vocational Assessments and providing comprehensive labour market research on identified job options;
  • Matching recommended job options with a client's physical and psychological capabilities.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Psychology or Rehabilitation Counselling;
  • General or Provisional AHPRA registration or Full ASORC Membership;
  • Previous experience working in Occupational Rehabilitation industry would be highly regarded;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Well-developed time management skills;
  • A current QLD Driver's License and access to own car with comprehensive insurance is a must.
