The Echo Entertainment Group is a leading entertainment and resort destination, renowned for its luxury venues, including The Star Sydney. As a Luxury Venue Operations Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of Sovereign Dining, a unique and exclusive dining space for VIP Members.

This role requires a highly skilled and guest-focused leader who can work closely with the F&B Operations Manager and team members to deliver exceptional experiences. You will be responsible for creating memorable moments for our VIP Guests, ensuring that every interaction is tailored to their needs and preferences.

Some key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Managing day-to-day operations of Sovereign Dining, including coaching and development of all team members
  • Planning and executing bespoke events in line with our guest experience strategy, leveraging supplier partnerships
  • Reviewing and analysing the daily operational needs, maintaining food and beverage, labour, product, and expenses on budget
  • Leading and motivating the team to continuously deliver guest experiences in line with our service culture

We are seeking an experienced management professional with a passion for the hospitality industry. Key qualifications include:

  • Extensive management experience in high-end restaurants, executive lounges, or bars
  • A thorough knowledge of food and beverages
  • Proactive and well-rounded leadership skills, with the ability to empower and encourage the team to deliver personalised and professional services
  • Confidence in leading a large and diverse team across a 24/7 roster
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and attention to detail

In return, we offer a competitive salary of AU$120,000 - AU$150,000 per annum, depending on experience. Other benefits include:
