We are seeking a highly skilled Investment Governance professional to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing regular production and accurate compliance monitoring for Mercer Investments (Australia) Limited. They will also be expected to proactively monitor adherence to procedures and control checks on a daily/monthly/quarterly basis.

  • Provide timely and accurate investment governance support to ensure the effective management of investment risks.
  • Maintain and update relevant documentation, including policies, procedures, and risk assessments.
  • Identify and escalate potential issues or concerns related to investment governance and risk management.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Investment Governance: Provide strategic guidance on investment governance matters, including developing and implementing governance frameworks and policies.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate investment-related risks, ensuring that all risks are properly documented and reported.
  • Compliance: Ensure that all investments comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports to stakeholders on investment performance and governance.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as finance, accounting, or business.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in investment governance, risk management, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders.
