The role of this position involves developing and maintaining strong working relationships with brokers, aggregators, and internal stakeholders to drive growth within agricultural loan portfolios in Western Australia and South Australia.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Service brokers proactively to drive growth within the agricultural loan portfolios in your region.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with aggregator partners and accredited brokers.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure the best solutions are delivered to brokers and customers.
  • Engage in relationship building, problem solving, commission negotiation, and broker education as part of a regular day.
  • Facilitate webinars, participate in professional development days, conferences, and other marketing and training opportunities.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Detailed knowledge of the rural/agricultural lending market across the state, with a solid understanding of the broker mindset.
  • Proactive business development approach and high personal/professional resilience.
  • Ability to develop strong internal and external relationships and establish yourself as a trusted advisor to staff, brokers, and aggregators.
  • Comfortable with challenging conversations with brokers and credit decisions/outcomes.
  • Strong financial analysis skills and understanding of agricultural business credit.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present to large audiences.
  • Solution-based mindset with the ability to work with all levels of internal and external stakeholders to achieve outcomes.
