Key Account Manager Job Description

The company has been successful in the polyethylene products market for over 30 years, serving the Agriculture, Resources and Construction industries.

The role involves managing key agriculture merchant accounts throughout Western Australia, building and maintaining client relationships, pursuing new business opportunities, and providing innovative sales solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage key agriculture merchant accounts throughout WA
  • Build and maintain client relationships in major territories and with corporate accounts
  • Proactively pursue new business and sales opportunities
  • Solve problems for clients and customers by developing innovative and tailored sales solutions
  • Coordinate with the marketing department on lead generation; demonstrate full understanding of current marketing campaigns and offerings, and be able to clearly communicate them to the clients
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Key Account Manager
  • Agriculture industry knowledge and/or experience
  • Well-developed negotiating skills
  • Motivated, mature, friendly and reliable
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a team
  • Ability to maintain good communication and strong relationships with team members and clients
