
Occupational Health Specialist

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Rehabilitation Consultant. In this role, you will work with clients who may be living with an illness, disability, or injury, providing occupational rehabilitation services to support their return to health and return to work outcomes.
The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical knowledge base and excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with employers, employees, medical and allied health professionals. You will also have the opportunity to develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs, using your creativity and problem-solving skills to find innovative solutions.
This is a diverse role that offers flexibility and autonomy, with a manageable caseload and the support of a strong team. We welcome new graduates to apply, as well as experienced professionals looking for a new challenge.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Work with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive rehabilitation services
- Develop and implement customized plans to support clients' goals
- Collaborate with employers and employees to develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs
- Use your clinical knowledge and skills to improve return to work outcomes

RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- A tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy or Osteopathy
- Full Professional Registration with AHPRA or eligibility to apply
- Previous experience working in Occupational Rehabilitation industry would be highly regarded;
- Fabulous communication skills - there is a lot of getting to know your clients and stakeholders
- Compassion and kindness always go a long way as does empathy;
- It's the kind of career where well developed time management skills are a must & plus
