Key Responsibilities
Our ideal candidate will enjoy flexibility and autonomy to manage their day-to-day tasks while being supported by a strong team of healthcare professionals. They will provide occupational rehabilitation services to clients with various conditions, both physical and psychological, and support them to achieve return to health and return to work outcomes.
Their duties will include:
- Case management (caseloads are manageable, and our consultants have the support of Rehabilitation Assistants to alleviate administrative tasks)
- Applying clinical knowledge to improve return to work outcomes
- Working with employers and employees to develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs
- Collaborating with injured workers, employers, medical and allied health professionals
- Assisting those with an injury or health condition to achieve return to health and return to work outcomes
- Completing various assessments using clinical skills, including but not limited to initial, workplace and vocational assessments to review diagnosis, support treatment plans, address psychosocial barriers to employment and identify suitable employment opportunities for workers who have sustained workplace injuries or injuries sustained from motor vehicle accidents
Requirements
Our ideal candidate will possess a qualification in Exercise Physiology, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy or Osteopathy, and full professional registration with AHPRA or full professional accreditation with ESSA. They must have strong communication skills to build relationships, excellent time management skills to work autonomously and within a team environment, a desire to problem solve with confidence to be innovative and use initiative to achieve results, a passion for injury prevention, return to work and associated health benefits, and a current driver's license and access to their own vehicle.
