Job Title: In Room Dining and Minibar Team Leader

Key Responsibilities:
  • Organize and control the day-to-day operation of In Room Dining and Minibar, working closely with the Assistant Outlet Manager to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Ensure that the outlet is set to the required standard, adhering to departmental procedures and checklists to maintain exceptional quality.
  • Demonstrate a passion for excellence by providing exceptional service to our guests, responding promptly to their requests and needs.
  • Embody the art of French hospitality by showcasing a 'can-do' attitude, always striving to exceed guest expectations.
  • Perform tasks efficiently and effectively, meeting deadlines and maintaining a high level of productivity.
  • Assist in the implementation and maintenance of Sofitel Brand Standards, ensuring that our services align with our luxury brand values.
  • Support the training and development of all ambassadors, maintaining a detailed training log to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Monitor and respond to guest feedback, comments, and complaints, keeping the Supervisor and Assistant Manager informed of any issues or concerns.
  • Maintain storerooms in a tidy and organized manner, ensuring adequate inventories and supplies are available.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating a professional attitude and appearance that reflects positively on our Sofitel brand.
  • Stay up-to-date with all operations concerning the Food and Beverage department, including daily, weekly, and monthly tasks and responsibilities.
Requirements:
  • Highly motivated individual with excellent attention to detail and a passion for delivering exceptional service.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of luxury hospitality standards.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and guests.
  • Professional appearance and attitude, representing our Sofitel brand with pride.
  • Ability to work a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Current RSA certificate, with a commitment to maintaining a safe and responsible work environment.
