Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food and Beverage Team Leader to join our team at the Sydney Harbour Marriott Hotel at Circular Quay. As a key member of our Food and Beverage team, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional service and guest satisfaction in our in-room dining operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and motivate a team of Food and Beverage staff to deliver outstanding service and meet guest expectations.
  • Ensure seamless communication and collaboration between team members to achieve operational excellence.
  • Monitor and maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in the dining areas.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve guest satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and guest experience.
  • Conduct regular team meetings and provide feedback to ensure team members are aware of their roles and responsibilities.
  • Identify and address any issues or concerns that may impact guest satisfaction or team performance.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with guests, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to ensure our team is always delivering exceptional service.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a Food and Beverage leadership role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering exceptional service and meeting guest expectations.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and staff supervision.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in hospitality or related field preferred.
