Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food and Beverage Team Leader to join our team at the Sydney Harbour Marriott Hotel at Circular Quay. As a key member of our Food and Beverage team, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional service and guest satisfaction in our in-room dining operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and motivate a team of Food and Beverage staff to deliver outstanding service and meet guest expectations.
  • Ensure seamless execution of in-room dining operations, including food preparation, presentation, and delivery.
  • Monitor and maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in the dining area and kitchen.
  • Collaborate with the Food and Beverage team to develop and implement new menu items and promotions.
  • Provide exceptional guest service, responding to guest complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Conduct regular team meetings and training sessions to ensure staff are aware of new procedures and policies.
  • Maintain accurate records of guest feedback and staff performance.
  • Work closely with the Food and Beverage Manager to achieve sales and revenue targets.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a Food and Beverage leadership role.
  • Proven track record of delivering exceptional guest service and leading high-performing teams.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, guests, and other departments.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
  • Ability to lift up to 10-15kg and stand for long periods.
