Job Overview
The Events Producer is responsible for the end-to-end creative, production, and delivery of Council’s civic events program. This role requires a high degree of autonomy, collaboration, and adaptability.
- Develop and deliver an annual program of events that meet the needs and expectations of stakeholders.
- Work cross-functionally with Council departments and community groups to identify and leverage event opportunities.
- Foster collaboration to optimize the calendar of events and improve event offerings.
About You
- Possess tertiary qualifications in event management, project management, protocols, or business management, or equivalent industry experience.
- Have experience in the end-to-end development and delivery of events, including budget planning, logistics, and risk management.
- Be able to produce high-quality work within strict deadlines, prioritize tasks, and manage competing demands.
- Have superior oral and written communication skills, including public speaking experience.
Requirements
- Hold a current Class C Driver’s Licence.
