The Opportunity

This is a permanent part-time position for a motivated professional to join our residential care home. As a member of our team, you will play a vital role in enhancing the well-being of residents, their families, and the staff who support and care for them.

  • Coordinate recreational and social programs that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our residents
  • Maintain accurate records of program participation, design, and evaluation
  • Support each resident in accordance with their individualized lifestyle plans
  • Ensure all programs meet the necessary accreditation standards
  • Foster strong relationships with residents, encouraging them to engage with their local community
  • Assist with meaningful activities that provide choice and fulfillment to each person
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Certificate III / IV in Lifestyle and Leisure or equivalent experience
  • NDIS Clearance or willingness to obtain
  • Understanding of the cognitive, social, and spiritual needs of older adults and their families
  • Empathy and ability to build strong connections with residents and their loved ones
  • Honesty, helpfulness, and dependability – essential qualities for our team
  • Creativity and experience in coordinating recreational and social programs, preferably in an aged care environment
