Enriching Lives as an Activities Coordinator

The role of an activities coordinator is multifaceted and engaging, requiring a unique blend of creativity, organization, and compassion. At the heart of this position lies the ability to create and manage activity calendars, notices, and schedules that cater to the diverse needs and interests of seniors.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and update activity calendars, notices, and schedules to ensure a stimulating and engaging experience for residents.
  • Oversee event setup and takedown, including arranging bus transportation for residents.
  • Plan and implement engaging activities that consider feedback from residents and team members.
  • Compile and manage important documentation such as attendance records, progress reports, and activity plans.

Requirements:

  • Completion of high school education and recognized courses in recreation or a related field.
  • Previous experience in coordinating activities for seniors or related combinations of education, training, and experience.
  • A valid Class 4 unrestricted driver's license or willingness to obtain one.
