We are seeking an experienced Curriculum Leader to support the Head of Department in leading a dynamic team of teachers. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving curriculum development, collaborating with colleagues to implement plans, and monitoring student progress.

About the Role

The Assistant Head of Department will oversee the curriculum area, which includes English, Humanities, LOTE (Italian & Japanese), Maths, Science, Performing Arts, Visual Arts, and Design Technology. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to make a positive impact on student outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Head of Department in leading the curriculum area
  • Develop and implement curriculum plans in collaboration with teachers
  • Monitor student progress and achievement across the curriculum area
  • Maintain effective relationships with parents and the wider community

Requirements

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications (e.g., Masters of Teaching / Bachelor of Education / PGCE)
  • Current VIT registration (or eligibility to gain)
  • Working Rights for Australia (or eligibility to gain)
