Lead Social Work Academic Position

This position will involve providing leadership and oversight for the Department of Social Work, including the Bachelor's and Master's programs, developing field placement opportunities, and making a meaningful difference in the lives of students.

  • Provide strategic leadership and oversee program development.
  • Ensure compliance with AASW and TEQSA accreditation standards.
  • Enhance curriculum and develop field placement opportunities.
  • Lead and manage academic staff across multiple campuses.
  • Engage with stakeholders to support program growth and quality.
  • Monitor student outcomes and drive continuous improvement.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • PhD in Social Work and eligibility for AASW membership.
  • Proven leadership experience in social work or related academic programs.
  • Strong knowledge of AASW standards, ASWEAS, and experience managing accredited programs.
  • Commitment to diversity, inclusion, and social justice.
