The Opportunity

We're seeking an experienced Client Services Coordinator to join our Global Forwarding team in Kilburn SA. Our customers cover both air and sea, ranging from retail to industrial verticals. As a Client Services Coordinator, you'll be the daily interface between Toll Global Forwarding and our customers, ensuring seamless and professional freight forwarding services.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with our Regional Sales Manager, assisting with quotes, major tenders, and customer visits. The role offers growth and development opportunities for someone motivated and able to add value and boost performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage major customer accounts
  • Liaise with clients and internal departments to meet expectations and update job information in a timely manner
  • Process shipments accurately and on time, meeting Toll, legislative, and client requirements
  • Monitor and reconcile shipping line issues, such as transhipment, detention, and demurrage liabilities
  • Coordinate and assist in creating client implementation plans, including completing SOPs, liaising with CRM, and maintaining contact with stakeholders
  • Promote excellence through efficiency, safety, and maintaining legal compliance matters
  • Adhere to Chain of Responsibility regulations for goods movement

About You:

  • Experience in freight forwarding, operations, and/or customer service
  • Knowledge of freight forwarding requirements, markets, and regulations
  • Excellent communication skills for interactions with department managers, suppliers, clients, and vendors
  • Methodical, organised, and detail-oriented approach while meeting time requirements
  • Results-oriented and resilient, focused on achieving desired outcomes
  • Strong planning and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
