We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated CSSD Instrument Technician to provide high-quality service in theatres and other clinical areas.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform thermal disinfection inspections, packaging, and sterilisation of instrumentation for theatres and clinical areas.
- Ensure compliance with AS/NZ standards and GENCA.
- Operate, interpret, and document machinery operational requirements.
- Report and document quality activities.
- Prioritise instrumentation and processes effectively.
Darwin Private Hospital provides a range of multiday and day surgery services. Our hospital attracts patients from across the Northern Territory, Western Australia, remote Aboriginal communities, and offshore.
- Cert 4 in Sterilisation Services or working towards.
- Demonstrated knowledge of instrumentation.
- Sound understanding of AS/NZ standards.
- Experience with tracking systems.
- Endoscopy reprocessing skills or willingness to learn.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Intermediate computer literacy skills.
