
Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Perioperative Nurse to join our team in delivering high-quality patient care.
About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and passionate nurse to work in a fast-paced environment, providing expert nursing care to patients undergoing surgery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based nursing care to patients undergoing surgery
- Liaise with the multi-disciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care
- Ensure patient and staff safety by adhering to hospital policies and procedures
- Supervise, direct, and guide nursing team members to deliver high-quality patient care
- Deliver education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation, or end-of-life needs
Requirements:
- Current Registration with AHPRA
- Experience in Orthopaedics (preferred)
- Post-Graduate Certificate in Perioperative Nursing (or working towards)
- NT Working with Children check
- Commitment to Quality Patient Care
- Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
- Sound clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
