Perioperative Nurse Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Perioperative Nurse to join our team in delivering high-quality patient care.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and passionate nurse to work in a fast-paced environment, providing expert nursing care to patients undergoing surgery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver evidence-based nursing care to patients undergoing surgery
  • Liaise with the multi-disciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care
  • Ensure patient and staff safety by adhering to hospital policies and procedures
  • Supervise, direct, and guide nursing team members to deliver high-quality patient care
  • Deliver education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation, or end-of-life needs

Requirements:

  1. Current Registration with AHPRA
  2. Experience in Orthopaedics (preferred)
  3. Post-Graduate Certificate in Perioperative Nursing (or working towards)
  4. NT Working with Children check
  5. Commitment to Quality Patient Care
  6. Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
  7. Sound clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills
  8. Excellent communication and customer service skills
  9. Ability to work independently and within a team
