Senior Lawyer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Lawyer to join our team in Darwin. As a Senior Lawyer, you will be responsible for providing high-quality legal services to clients who have experienced trauma.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dedicated team of professionals who are passionate about delivering exceptional service to our clients. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of legal matters, including redress and compensation options.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality advice and representation to clients in relation to their legal issues.
  • Support the Managing Lawyer to lead our service delivery to clients in the local office.
  • Contribute as a professional member of a national legal practice, ensuring compliance with professional and corporate responsibilities.
  • Assist in conducting regular file reviews and monitoring service delivery standards.
  • Ensure all relevant service data is recorded.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in law, particularly in the area of trauma and abuse.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong research and analytical skills.
  • Capacity to manage a significant caseload and prioritise tasks effectively.
