Job Opportunity: Claims Team Leader

In our Sydney based Claims Delivery team, we are looking for a passionate and experienced Group Life Claims Leader to join us on a permanent basis. You will be responsible for guiding an end-to-end claims team that supports our members on their journey back to work and health.

This role involves delivering innovative claims management practices, ensuring alignment with our policies, procedures, and reinsurance guidelines. You will thrive on technical decision-making, mentoring others, and driving continuous improvement in the field of claims assessment and complex case management.

About the Role

As a strategic thinker, you will analyse dashboards, reports, and financial data to identify trends and recommend solutions. Your expert knowledge of group insurance products and understanding of regulatory and legislative landscapes will enable you to interpret policy terms and contracts with ease.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team focused on supporting members through their journey back to work and health.
  • Develop and implement innovative claims management practices.
  • Ensure alignment with company policies, procedures, and reinsurance guidelines.
  • Mentor team members in technical decision-making and problem-solving.
  • Drive continuous improvement in claims assessment and complex case management.
