This leadership position plays a crucial role in the success of our property claims division.
- We are seeking an experienced professional to lead a high-performing team that handles complex property and residential claims.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in insurance claims management, with experience in supervising teams and ensuring compliance with industry best practices.
Main ResponsibilitiesLeadership and Team Management
- Supervise a portfolio of property claims and implement effective strategies to ensure successful claim outcomes.
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and feedback to team members to enhance their skills and performance.
- Work closely with other team leaders and the property claims manager to develop and implement career development plans.
Claim Handling and Technical Expertise
- Support the property claims manager with reporting and provide technical expertise as needed.
- Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of strata, ISR & package business to effectively handle complex claims.
Travel and Presentations
- Occasional travel may be required for claim escalations and presentations to stakeholders.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A tertiary qualification in insurance or a related field (ANZIIF desired).
- Indepth technical expertise in strata, ISR & package business.
- Strong evidence of insurance claims handling experience, preferably in commercial claims.
