As a key member of our team, the billing coordinator plays a pivotal role in providing high-level support and reporting services to our organization.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring accurate and timely completion of billing procedures, collaborating with colleagues to develop, improve, and implement best practices
  • Supporting the creation and distribution of comprehensive billing reports for organizational standards
  • Administering new client accounts within our financial systems
  • Maintaining general billing activities, including time transfers and updates to client/matter details
  • Preparing detailed bills for specific clients and managing complex billing scenarios
  • Troubleshooting billing issues and liaising with system providers as necessary
  • Uploading bills into client e-billing platforms and ensuring compliance requirements are met
  • Providing training and support to colleagues on billing processes, including during onboarding
  • Offering general ad-hoc billing support and finance-related tasks

We utilize Aderant Expert as our primary finance system.

**Essential Skills and Qualifications:**

  • Proven experience in office administration or finance, preferably in a professional services environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Familiarity with billing and finance processes
  • Demonstrated attention to detail
  • Strong time management, planning, and organizational skills
  • A proactive, positive, and responsive approach
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
