About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our Airfreight Team in our Tullamarine office as an Airfreight Export Operator. This role is perfect for someone who is eager to develop a career in freight forwarding and is looking for a challenging and dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage and complete the administration of the Airfreight Export Forwarding process according to defined procedures.
  2. Ensure customer requirements are met and all required documentation is completed in a timely and efficient manner.
Accountabilities
  1. Create and manage air export bookings for general cargo and life science customers.
  2. Manage and handle customer requirements, providing shipment visibility and profitability using DGF tools.
  3. Ability to cross-train in different aspects of the export department to provide support if required.
  4. Handle general enquiries as required.
  5. Support DGF stakeholders in incident and exception management resolution.
  6. Provide support and backup to colleagues.
  7. Additional tasks as instructed by Department Manager/Supervisors.
Requirements
  1. General knowledge of freight forwarding.
  2. Cargo Wise experience preferred.
  3. Clear and concise communication skills.
  4. Be a highly motivated self-starter.
  5. Results and outcome-driven.
  6. Be able to demonstrate strong communication and administration skills.
  7. Able to work independently.
  8. Adaptable to changes daily due to customer requests.
  9. High degree of reliability and attention to detail.
  10. Be a team player with a positive can-do attitude.
