We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our Airfreight Team in our Tullamarine (Melbourne Airport) office as an Airfreight Export Operator. This role offers an exciting opportunity for career growth and development within the freight forwarding industry.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and complete the administration of the Airfreight Export Forwarding process according to defined procedures.
- Ensure customer requirements are met and all required documentation is completed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Create and manage air export bookings for general cargo and life science customers.
- Manage and handle customer requirements, providing shipment visibility and profitability using DGF tools.
- Ability to cross-train in different aspects of the export department to provide support if required.
- Handle general enquiries and support DGF stakeholders in incident and exception management resolution.
- Provide support and backup to colleagues and perform additional tasks as instructed by Department Manager/Supervisors.
- General knowledge of freight forwarding.
- Cargo Wise experience preferred.
- Clear and concise communication skills.
- Highly motivated self-starter with results and outcome-driven approach.
- Strong communication and administration skills, with ability to work independently and adapt to changes daily.
- High degree of reliability and attention to detail, with a positive can-do attitude.
