About Us

Westhaven is a leading provider of disability support services and accommodation across regional NSW.

We are seeking an individual to join our team as a Project Manager, responsible for delivering projects that drive positive change and foster meaningful connections through personalised support for individuals with disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, manage, and oversee project strategies, processes, and contingency plans in consultation with key stakeholders and team members.
  • Proactively identify, engage, and manage relationships with stakeholders across multiple business areas to ensure project success.
  • Determine project resourcing needs, participate in recruitment when necessary, and oversee daily project activities.
  • Prepare and maintain regular project progress reports for management and stakeholders.
  • Actively identify and mitigate risks, and effectively resolve project dependencies and conflicts between teams and departments.
  • Contribute to the development of new methodologies to improve project delivery and organisational outcomes.
  • Ensure all project activities comply with relevant legislation and industry best practices.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a project management role or at least 5 years of industry experience at a management level.
  • Relevant tertiary education in a business-related discipline.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and lifecycle phases.
  • Proficiency in stakeholder engagement and management.
  • Excellent communication, with strong facilitation and conflict resolution skills.
  • Advanced project management and organisational skills.
  • Experience with budgeting, resourcing, and financial management.
  • Knowledge of process re-engineering, business improvement, and change management principles.
