Job Title

This Senior Consultant role involves providing project-specific services that exceed client and/or project requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the independent certifier for rolling stock, ensuring design, test, and acceptance meet industry standards.
  • Provide technical expertise for DMU and EMU vehicles, guiding projects toward successful outcomes.
  • Supervise product introduction, T&C, and other deliverables to ensure alignment with future project requirements.
  • Assist in project control, execution, and management of tasks/projects, driving efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Carry out analytical and implementation tasks, fostering innovation and growth.
  • Liaise and assist with project reviews, communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams, ensuring seamless collaboration.
  • Complete all project administrative tasks, including managing project reporting and financials, maintaining transparency and accountability.
Qualifications
  • Possess tertiary qualifications in Mechatronic or a related Engineering discipline.
  • Hold CPEng or equivalent registration, demonstrating expertise and credibility.
  • RPEV/RPEQ is highly desirable but not mandatory, showcasing flexibility and adaptability.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of rollingstock standards and vehicle specifications, staying up-to-date with industry developments.
  • Proven technical expertise in Rolling Stock testing and verification activities, delivering high-quality results.
  • Develop strong communication and interpersonal skills, building relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
  • Exhibit exceptional written and planning skills, navigating complex projects with ease.
  • Confidently work autonomously with minimal guidance, exercising initiative and self-motivation.
  • Display an analytical and technical mindset, approaching challenges with creativity and problem-solving skills.
