About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP HR Payroll Consultant to join our Corporate Applications Technology team at Australia Post. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the technical configuration and maintenance of our SAP HR Payroll system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Configure and Maintain SAP HR Payroll System: Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing by configuring and maintaining the SAP HR Payroll system.
  • Provide Technical Support: Provide technical support to the HR team in the use of the payroll system.
  • Collaborate with Technology Teams: Collaborate with the broader technology teams to ensure proper integration of the payroll system with other systems.
  • Monitor System Performance: Monitor system performance and troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Developments: Keep current with new developments in the field and recommend improvements to the system.
  • Document Configuration Changes: Document all configuration changes.
  • Run Knowledge Transfer Sessions: Run knowledge transfer sessions with the immediate team and other relevant stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Experience in SAP HR Payroll System Configuration: At least 3 years of experience in SAP HR Payroll system configuration and maintenance.
  • Technical Skills: Strong technical skills and knowledge of SAP HR Payroll system, including Organisational Management, Payroll Schema, Time Evaluation Schemas, and Configuration of HR related Infotypes.
  • Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Communication and Collaboration Skills: Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience with SAP Payroll ECC6 Public Sector Solution: Experience with SAP Payroll ECC6 Public Sector solution.
  • Desirable Experience: Experience with SuccessFactors, SAP S/4 Hana is desirable.
