Our organization is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team of healthcare professionals.

Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full-time Occupational Therapist at a reputable hospital. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and treating patients to facilitate independence in daily living activities and quality of life.

The role involves discharge planning, referral of patients to groups or other disciplines within the hospital, attendance and feedback at case conferences and family meetings, communication with program coordinators regarding funding and length of stay issues, and liaison with other team members regarding patient care and therapy time tabling.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Applied Sciences in Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualification and eligibility to register with the relevant authority.
  • Full registration with the relevant professional body.
  • Neurological rehabilitation experience is highly desirable.
  • Sound clinical judgment and clinical reasoning skills are essential.
  • Demonstrated excellence in written and verbal communication, as well as exceptional customer service skills.
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Superior time management and organizational skills.
