This role is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining and operating swimming pools, stadiums, and other leisure facilities.

  • The Leisure Maintenance Officer will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of all pool and dry plant within designated facilities.\
  • The ideal candidate will have experience in pool and spa systems, including water chemistry, purification processes, filtration systems, and heating operations.\
  • A strong understanding of safety regulations and compliance is essential, including knowledge of OHS Act 2004, Royal Life Saving Society Australia (RLSSA) guidelines, and legislation related to chemical handling, hazardous substances, and dangerous goods.\
  • The successful candidate will possess exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly assess issues and implement effective solutions.\
  • They will also have excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to provide support to internal and external stakeholders.\
  • A current Victorian driver's license and own transport are essential for this role.\
  • The successful candidate will undergo regular training and development opportunities to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.\
  • They will be required to maintain accurate records and reports, as well as adhere to quality assurance procedures.\
  • A working from heights certificate, confined spaces certificate, and aquatic technical operators certificate are highly desirable but not essential for this role.\
