Job Overview

The Senior Facilities Engineer plays a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing our facility's operational efficiency. This key position oversees the management of plant and facilities equipment operations, providing critical engineering support for renovations, upgrades, retrofits, modernizations, and repairs.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage construction projects from inception to completion, including programming, commissioning, validation, and equipment installation; conduct design reviews and lifecycle analysis.
  2. Support sterilization equipment installation, maintenance, and repair activities.
  3. Oversight of sterilization, building automation, and HVAC systems ensures seamless facility operations.
  4. Strategic management of facility maintenance contracts promotes optimal equipment performance.
  5. Collaborate with the Global Energy Team to drive energy conservation initiatives and sustainability goals.
  6. Participate in global renewable energy projects, leveraging expertise to advance eco-friendly practices.
  7. Cross-train staff members and provide technical guidance on facilities operations, fostering a culture of excellence.
  8. Implement commissioning and validation procedures, ensuring compliance and operational efficiency.
  9. Work closely with EH&S teams to guarantee safety and regulatory compliance.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field required.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in engineering roles.
  • Familiarity with EPA and DEM regulations essential.
  • Proven track record in preventative maintenance.
  • Knowledge of building management controls vital for optimal system performance.
  • Able to respond to operational issues outside regular working hours.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite expected.
